Abstract
Objective: The study presented herein serves to assess the impact immediate rehabilitative treatment of burns has on the patient¡¯s joint of motion, hand function, and ADL performance for hand burn patients.

Method: The study was conducted on 41 adult (18+) burn victims who visited a hospital specializing in burn treatment between February and October of 2009. It was put A and B group (Experimental and Control Group) to ROM, grip power, Jebsen Hand Function Test, MBI and Michigan Hand Outcomes Questionnaire. Statistical analysis of collected data was performed through SPSS Statistics 17.0, with level of significance of p<.05.

Results: 1. The three sets of ROM and grip power data indicate improvement (p<.05) in both groups, to a relatively more significant degree (p<.05) in Group (B) than Group (A). 2. As for Jebsen Hand Function Tests, Group (A)¡¯s average was higher than Group (B).

Conclusion: The findings of the study indicate immediate rehabilitative treatment of burn victims following admission into the hospital improves the patient¡¯s joint of motion and hand function.
